In recent years, China's heat pump has developed rapidly, mainly in the following areas:

The heat pump unit's cooling capacity accounts for about 60%. (2) In recent years, China's absorption refrigeration equipment has developed rapidly. According to statistics, about 3,000 lithium bromide absorption refrigerating machines sold in 1996, including 1,115 direct-fired engines.

(3) The application of heat pumps in the industry has seen signs that steam injection heat pumps, absorption heat pumps, and electric drive heat pumps have been used in industrial processes such as wood, food (tea and fruit), ceramics, paper, printing, petroleum and chemical industries. . For example, about 400 heat pump wood dryers are currently in operation, with an annual processing capacity of about 200 thousand cubic meters.

All types of heat pumps have two temperature levels of evaporation and condensation, throttling using expansion valves or capillaries. However, there are different forms of pressure increase, mainly mechanical compression, heat compression, and injection vapor compression.

At present, there are three trends in the development of heat pumps in China:

â—Ž The direct-fired lithium bromide chiller and hot water unit developed rapidly, accounting for 56% of all lithium bromide absorption hot water units.
