Honeywell recently stated that it is considering the construction of a new plant in Romania to produce brake pads. After the plant is completed or will be put into production by the end of 2012, it will mainly produce advanced and environmentally friendly brake pads for passenger cars in the European market.

Honeywell will deploy its state-of-the-art hot press line equipment for its new plant in Romania, which will not only improve product quality and energy efficiency, but also reduce overall production costs.

Rainer Bostel, president of Honeywell's brake materials business, said: “In order to provide our customers with high quality products and to increase our competitiveness in the European market and in the global market, we will equip the Romania factory with the most advanced production equipment. ”

Honeywell's brake material business is headquartered in Grindelwald, Germany. Its main business is to supply brake pads and other related materials for the OEM equipment and aftermarket.
