The cause and treatment of the phenomenon of "bulging belly" of ball mill

The precursors of "swelling belly" are:

1. The main motor current meter of the ball mill indicates that the current is decreasing continuously;

2. The overflow of the classifier begins to “run rough”, the amount of sand returned gradually increases, the overflow concentration increases, and the particle size becomes coarser;

3. The ball mill sends out the slurry to the mine end;

4, the ball mill running sound is dull, the noise is getting smaller, almost can not hear the impact of the steel ball and the sound of falling;

5. The flotation foam has obvious changes, the flotation agent is out of balance, and the mineralization phenomenon is weakened.

The reason for causing the ball mill to "swell up": Generally speaking, the "bulging belly" of the ball mill is mainly caused by the lack of experience of the operator, or the observation of the working condition of the ball mill is not fine, the inspection is not timely, the operation adjustment is not timely, and the handling is improper. Under normal circumstances, the ball mill will not suffer from "blowing" problems.

Specifically, there are mainly ball mills that give too much ore, coarse ore crushing grain size, and large ore volume increase, which exceeds the passing ability of the ball mill, and can not be digested; the water pressure at the ore end is reduced, the water supply is insufficient, and the grinding concentration is increased. To a certain extent, the flow rate of the ore in the ball mill is slowed down, the ore discharge is not smooth, and the more and more ore is accumulated, causing the ball mill to "swell up". In addition, the ball mill is not added in time due to the steel ball, the amount of addition is insufficient, the ball is seriously lacking in the ball, or the proportion of the ball is unreasonable. The lack of the ball will slowly cause the ball mill to deteriorate, causing the ball mill to "swell". .

The ball miller should stick to the post during the working hours, strictly abide by the technical operation procedures and the equipment inspection system. The ball mill “swollen belly” will be discovered in time, adjusted as soon as possible, and the “swollen belly” will be eliminated in the bud.

If the "inflated belly" has already occurred, it is necessary to check the cause, the right medicine, and the hidden danger. When the amount of the ball mill is reduced immediately, the "swelling belly" should be stopped to reduce the load of the ball mill until the "flatness" is serious. The working state of the ball mill returns to normal.
