On August 23, the Operational Monitoring and Coordination Bureau of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology organized a seminar on the economic operation of the machinery industry in Beijing. Representatives of various trade associations exchanged information on the economic performance of the industry in the first half of the year, discussed the current difficulties faced by the development of the industry, and put forward relevant policy recommendations.

On the whole, from January to July, the machinery industry continued its upward trend in the second half of last year. The production and sales maintained a relatively rapid growth. The efficiency of enterprises increased significantly and exports improved significantly.
