As early as January 2011, the American chip manufacturer Intel Corporation announced that it had acquired the wireless solution business of Infineon Technologies. After three years of flashing, the Infineon Singapore branch, now known as Intel Mobile Communications, is taking the lead in the development of Intel’s Sophia mobile chip.
