Pentaerythritol Production and Demand Prosperous and Progressive

In recent years, Chinese pentaerythritol has developed rapidly. Not only has its production capacity increased rapidly, but its production technology has also made great progress. In 2002, China’s production capacity and output of pentaerythritol were around 100,000 tons and 50,000 tons respectively; in 2004, it was increased to 150,000 tons and 107,800 tons respectively. It is expected that the production capacity and output in 2005 will reach 180,000 tons and 130,000 tons, respectively.
Before 2002, the import of pentaerythritol in China showed an upward trend. In 2002, the import volume was as high as 9,822 tons. After 2003, with the rapid increase in domestic production capacity, the pattern of supply and demand has undergone a fundamental change. Imports have declined rapidly, while exports have risen rapidly. Imports decreased to 2,641 tons, while exports increased significantly to 7,848 tons. In 2004, it exported more than 10,000 tons to reach 15,600 tons, and imports further reduced to 2,200 tons. China has become an important producer and exporter of pentaerythritol.
At present, there are nearly 30 manufacturers of pentaerythritol in China, of which the enterprises with scale exceeding 10,000 tons mainly include Hengyang Sanhua Industrial Company, Hubei Yihua Group Company, Yuntianhua Group Corporation and Baoding Chemical Raw Material Factory. Hubei Yihua Yidu Branch already has an annual production capacity of 30,000 tons of pentaerythritol, ranking first in Asia and third in the world. Its new 15,000-tonne new plant produces 98% pentaerythritol, which is an international leader. Level.
China's pentaerythritol is mainly used for the production of alkyd resins, and also has applications in polyurethane, rosin esters, lubricants, surfactants, plasticizers, pharmaceuticals, and explosives. In 2004, the apparent consumption of pentaerythritol was 94,400 tons, and the consumption ratio was roughly: 67% for alkyd resin, 5.5% for lubricant, 6.5% for polyurethane, 6.0% for rosin ester, and others. The area accounts for about 15%.
The largest market for pentaerythritol is synthetic alkyd resins, which consumed about 46,000 tons of pentaerythritol in 2004. It is expected that the demand for pentaerythritol in the future will maintain an annual growth rate of 8% to 10%, and in 2005 it will demand 55,000 tons of pentaerythritol.
Pentaerythritol is used as a substitute for glycerol and is mainly used for the production of polyester polyols and polyether polyols, thereby synthesizing polyurethane foams. China's polyurethane industry consumed 5,000 tons of pentaerythritol in 2004. In recent years, China's polyurethane industry has developed rapidly, and consumption will continue to increase in the future. It is expected that the polyurethane industry will consume about 6,500 tons of pentaerythritol in 2005.
Fatty acid esters of pentaerythritol and C5-C10 fatty acids are mainly used to produce high-grade synthetic lubricants. Some new refrigerants that do not damage the ozone layer require a large amount of pentaerythritol fatty acid ester lubricants. Pentaerythritol fatty acid esters are also excellent heat resistant plasticizers for the production of highly insulating polyvinyl chloride cables. This area consumed about 4,800 tons in 2004. With the increase of domestic development efforts, it is estimated that in 2005, 7,000 tons of pentaerythritol will be consumed.
Pentaerythritol rosin esters produced from pentaerythritol are mainly used in the production of paints, paper, adhesives, rubber auxiliaries and inks. In 2004, the consumption of pentaerythritol was about 4,200 tons. It is estimated that 5,600 tons of pentaerythritol will be consumed in 2005.
Pentaerythritol is also used in medicine, pesticides, and daily chemicals. At present, domestic deep processing and development of pentaerythritol is extremely active. It mainly includes initiators for polyester polyols, chlorinated polyethers, surfactants, and intermediates for epoxy cross-linking agents. Vinyl chloride stabilizers, drugs for the treatment of cardiovascular diseases, olefin antioxidants, pentaerythritol triacrylate, and explosives raw materials such as pentaerythritol tetranitrate. In the above-mentioned fields, about 9,800 tons of pentaerythritol were consumed in 2004. Since these areas will maintain a steady growth momentum, it is estimated that 2005 will consume about 14,000 tons of pentaerythritol.
In sum, China's total pentaerythritol demand in 2005 will reach 100,000 to 110,000 tons. Among them, the proportion of alkyd resins will decrease, while the proportion of lubricants, rosin esters and polyurethanes will increase.
Deep processing downstream products of pentaerythritol are currently under development, including initiators for polyester polyols, flame retardant coating components, epoxy crosslinker intermediates, polyvinyl chloride stabilizers, oil modified amino surface coatings (aminoalkyd) Intermediates, olefin antioxidants and pentaerythritol triacrylates.

A Cone Crusher is basically a machine used to crush or smash big material substances into smaller or fine particles. Although there are other types of crushers like Jaw Crusher , Gyratory Crusher and impact rusher, cone crushers are specifically designed with a cone shaped inlet from where the object material is put in for crushing. There are two types of cone crushers viz. Spring Cone Crusher and Hydraulic Cone Crusher. However, Hydraulic Cone Crusher gives you more advantages than a normal spring cone crusher.

ADVANTAGES OF HYDRAULIC CONE CRUSHER

High crushing ratio and production efficiency
The rates greater power and this helps the machine to pass the material at an excellent speed. So, eventually it delivers a high production and crushing rate.

 Low maintenance cost
This is a great advantage that one can have with a Hydraulic Cone Crusher. Almost all components of the machine have an anti wearing protection. Ultimately, this increases the life span of components by around 30%. So, increased life means increased efficiency and low maintenance cost.

 High quality product shape output
A hydraulic cone crusher uses the method of pressuring two surface layers to crush objects and has adjustable turning speed. A hydraulic cone crusher can selectively smash objects while crushing and this can help increase the quality output of fine objects and cubic shaped objects, as wished.

Automatic discharging
The bidirectional metal releasing part of a hydraulic cone crusher automatically adjusts and discharges the bulk while crushing. So there is no need to halt the crushing process and clean the objects manually.

Thin oil lubrication system
The thin oil lubrication system of a hydraulic cone crusher plays a very important role in increasing the life of a crusher. This further helps in making the production process cost efficient.
