3. Temperature compensation The temperature compensator is rotated to the actual temperature value of the measured solution.
4. Zero adjustment Point the step switch to "6" and turn the zero adjuster so that the pointer points to "1" at the center of the scale.
5. Correction Point the step switch to "Correct" and turn the correction adjuster so that the pointer points to the full scale "2.0"
6. Repeat steps (4) and (5) until the indication is stable.
7. Position the standard buffer solution at the same temperature as the standard buffer solution. Add a standard buffer solution to the small beaker, place the stirrer, immerse the electrode, turn on the stirrer, turn the step switch to the position corresponding to the known pH value, press the reading switch, and rotate the positioner so that the pointer stabilises The pH of the standard buffer solution at this temperature. After adjustment, release the reading switch, remove the solution, rinse the electrode, and blot the attached water on the electrode with filter paper.
8. Measurement Immerse the electrode in the solution to be measured. Press the reading switch and adjust the step switch until it can read the indicated value. The indicated value of the step switch plus the indication value of the pointer is the pH value of the tested solution.
