At around 3:40 pm yesterday, a 6-car collision occurred at Haier Road, Jiangbei District, Chongqing. The accident was caused by a tanker suddenly running out of control while driving and unfortunately hitting a black Mercedes in front. Under the influence of inertia, the Mercedes-Benz car hit the front vehicle and continued to fall. The accident caused a total of six vehicles to collide.

The black Mercedes was hit hardest and was almost scrapped because of the impact. Fortunately, the accident did not result in major casualties, but only minor injuries.

After the incident, the Jiangbei traffic police and firefighters rushed to the scene to rescue them, and took temporary control measures against the outlets along Haier Road and Wuliping to prevent traffic congestion.

As for why the tanker will lose control, we are not aware of it. As of now, the patrols of the specific cause of the accident are under further investigation.
