China National Heavy Duty Truck announced its sales and sales report for January-February 2010, showing that the growth momentum of recovery was significant, with cumulative sales of 8602 units, up 64.6% year-on-year. However, consistent with our predictions from the end of last year, this year, the recovery momentum of heavy trucks and other vehicles will be more apparent than last year, but it will be lower than most expectations of the market. The company’s output growth rate in January-February was nearly twice as fast as sales. Although there are reasons for the increase in sales in March, it can be seen that the sales expectations have not been met.
In the January-February period, CNHTC Group sold 31,670 vehicles, an increase of 128.5% year-on-year. The Group's production and sales data can better reflect the growth of the heavy truck market.
