China Drying Network News The world's leading specialty chemicals company, Ashland Group, recently announced the third quarter results of fiscal year 2012 (October 1, 2011 to September 30, 2012). Compared with the same period of last year, sales in this quarter decreased by 2% to US$2.1 billion; however, operating income increased by 40% to US$274 million; EBIT increased by 24% to US$381 million. Earnings before interest and tax reached 17.8%, and earnings per share were $2.04, which doubled year-on-year.
