The vibration speed sensor can be used to measure the absolute vibration of a bearing housing, housing or structure with respect to free space. For most machines, for vibration measurements, it is best to use an eddy current sensor that can directly detect the actual vibration of the shaft in a non-contact manner. However, due to various reasons (installation restrictions and environmental factors, etc.), it is inconvenient to install eddy current sensors. For such machines, if the vibration of the shaft is transmitted to the bearing shell, the mechanical vibration can be adopted. A speed sensor mounted on the bearing performs the measurement.
