On November 20th, Yuhuan County of Zhejiang Province held the 2006 Yuhuan (Beijing) Auto Parts Industry Promotion Conference in Beijing.
At the meeting, Yuhuan County Governor Wang Guozhong introduced the county's socio-economic and automobile and motorcycle industry development.
It is understood that at present, Yuhuan County has a total of more than 1,800 auto and motorcycle production and processing companies, employing about 80,000 employees, of which 30 are enterprises with an output value of over 50 million yuan and 12 are over 100 million yuan. The county automobile and motorcycle industry has more than 5,000 products. Today, the county has built a number of provincial-level enterprise technology R&D centers such as brake discs, shock absorbers, and automotive gear, and has undertaken five national-level research projects and the Torch Program. In the first 10 months of this year, Yuhuan Auto Parts Industry achieved a production value of 14.7 billion yuan, and the annual output value is expected to reach 18 billion yuan.
The signing ceremony of China National Machinery Industry Corporation and Zhejiang Fuyue Auto Parts Co., Ltd. was also held at the promotion. It is reported that the two parties will, through the cooperation of the Yuhuan County government, cooperate to integrate Yuhuan's advantages in the industrial chain of parts and components, and build an international auto parts industrial base integrating production, sales, research and development, testing, and logistics in Yuhuan. The county auto parts industry has sustained, healthy and orderly development.
It is understood that Yuhuan County organized a total of more than 120 companies to participate in the 2006 Beijing International Auto Show, a total of more than 1,000 square meters of booth. These companies have brought many new products.
