For example, corn has the smallest deviation from the base in the middle of the blade at 55%, while it is measured in the 40% to 60% area. The coefficient of variation is lower. Therefore, in the process of measuring with the chlorophyll meter, it is also necessary to pay attention to the choice of the measurement orientation in order to avoid the measurement error.
In addition, during actual measurement using the chlorophyll meter, we also found that the intensity of light radiation has a certain influence on the measurement results of the chlorophyll meter, and as the illuminance of light radiation increases, the SPAD reading decreases. Therefore, during the measurement, the time for the determination should be reasonably selected so as to avoid the influence of the ecological environment on the determination of the chlorophyll meter.
