The gear pump is equipped with a differential pressure relief valve as overload protection. The total return pressure of the safety valve is 1.5 times the rated discharge pressure of the pump. However, this safety valve cannot be used as a pressure relief valve for a long period of time, and can be installed separately on the pipeline when required.
